Quality management system

POSCO PLANTEC keeps pace with the global era and develops various activities to realize the highest quality. Under the quality goal 'the realization of customers value by securing competitiveness in quality', POSCO PLANTEC performs customer-centered quality management activities and activities of strengthening quality process pursuant to international standards and other standards and of invigorating knowledge management for the enhancement of competence and use of knowledge.

Enhancement of customers satisfaction

Under the goal 'to create customers value by even reflecting customers' potential needs', POSCO PLANTEC develops various activities of enhancing customers satisfaction in order to realize 'the highest quality that even satisfies customers' soul' which is POSCO's quality charter. POSCO PLANTEC also performs activities of enhancing not only satisfaction level but also process by receiving VOC(Voice of Customer) through a staged outside satisfaction survey on winning of contracts, execution, and completion to discover problems and establish improvement plans to give customers feedbacks. Furthermore, POSCO PLANTEC immediately responds to VOCs received through 'Voice of Customer' on the website and continues developing activities of breaking down walls of the organization through improvement activities via an internal interdepartmental satisfaction survey.

Enhancement of quality process

POSCO PLANTEC continues to develop system-improving activities, reflecting the latest requirements for ISO9001 Quality Management System and realizes the systematic, effective management by constructing computing infrastructure for quality control. POSCO PLANTEC also has constructed an unconformity management system, a corrective measure management system, and a failure cases management system that can immediately respond to dissatisfaction with products or services so as to make doubly sure to prevent the reoccurrence of failure cases by managing them continuously.

Invigoration of knowledge management

POSCO PLANTEC has constructed a sustainable foundation for growth by systematizing knowledge and knowhow which are the core competences for EPC industry. POSCO PLANTEC accumulates knowledge by accumulating and sharing systematized knowledge and constructing a knowledge management system which is divided into Regulation Center, Knowledge Center, Communication Center, and Creation Center.
