Phase 4 T2 Baggage Handling Facility Expansion Project at Incheon International Airport

The Incheon International Airport Phase 4 expansion project is to increase the number of passengers to 100 million/year. The phase 4 construction project completes 43Km and builds an extensive system with a total extension of 184Km. POSCO PLANTEC is conducting a four-stage project in conjunction with a Phase 1 to Phase 3 project. Based on its excellent technology, POSCO PLANTEC is improving the value of its customers through the construction of the best airports.

The Baggage Handling System (BHS) is a project to construct a logistics transport system that sorts, stores, searches and transports baggage checked in by passengers.

POSCO PLANTEC has established a system to efficiently handle baggage at Incheon International Airport and is participating in the expansion of a four-stage baggage handling facility.

We have successfully carried out phases 1 to 3 BHS projects, and based on our experience and technology, we have various capabilities to ensure safety and quality by applying new technologies and methods (Based on 3D design, development of conveyors, construction using new construction methods, etc.) in the 4th phase BHS expansion project.
